Season 157-137-9 +79.23 Units

Monday 2-0-1 +10.00 Units

(20 Units Plays Now 6-1 or 86%)

Let's kick some ass tonight!!!

5 Units Marshall -3 (LOST 78-79) -5.10 UNITS

A couple of slumping teams from the MAC meet, with little to play for. Ball State has dropped 7 of 9 games, while Marshall has lost 6 of 8. The Ball State Cardinals (10-13) have three decent players in 6’-8” senior Cameron Echols (10 ppg, 6.5 rpg), 6’-6” junior Terrance Chapman and 6’3” junior Dennis Trammell (12.5 ppg). But they are 2-8 SU/5-4 ATS on the road where they get outscored by a 71-64 average. The Marshall Thundering Herd (9-14) is 6-5 SU/7-4 ATS at home where they outscore teams by a 70-67 average. Marshall has a good frontcourt of 6’-7” senior Marvin Black (12 ppg, 7 rpg), 6’-9” sophomore Marc Patton (5 rpg), 6’-7”, 250-lb sophomore LaVar Carter, and they have a terrific playmaker in 6-3” junior guard A.W. Hamilton (5.4 assists pg). First meeting of the season, and look for a lot of points and the home court to be the difference.

5 Units Seton Hall -3 (WON 76-66) +5.00 UNITS

Kelly Whitney and John Allen led a 19-4 spurt to open the second half and Seton Hall (R: 5-5 SU, 5-4 ATS) held off a late Villanova rally for a 70-68 victory on Saturday. Andre Barrett led the Pirates with 16 points and seven assists, but he also had a couple of late mistakes that helped Villanova rally. Whitney added 15 points, and John Allen and Marcus Toney-El had 12 points apiece as Seton Hall ended a two-game losing streak. Miami lost to Providence 70-57; Robert Hite had 15 points for Miami (13-14, 3-10 Big East), which lost its ninth straight. Darius Rice, Miami's leading scorer at 16.7 points per game, did not play. He's been out since spraining his foot Feb. 14 against Syracuse. The Pirates come off a much needed win this weekend when they shot 46% from the field. The Hall is ticketed for an NCAA bid and needs to keep the wins coming. Miami is still having a tough time, Darius Rice may not be at full strength for the Seton Hall game, and they need him.

5 Units So Mississippi +14 (LOST 56-74) -5.30 UNITS

Southern Miss (R: 2-8 Su, 3-7 ATS) has lost three of four and dropped below .500 in C-USA play following a 78-72 loss to UNC-Charlotte on Saturday. Jarekus Singleton had a game-high 21 points for Southern Miss (12-11, 5-7). Charles Gaines added 17 and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Golden Eagles. The 49ers were 25-for-52 (48.1) from the floor and grabbed 32 rebounds. The Golden Eagles shot 27-for-61 (44.3 percent) from the floor and had 28 rebounds. Sean Banks scored 24 points to lead the injury-depleted Memphis (H; 13-0 SU, 6-4 ATS) Tigers to a 73-66 victory over UAB on Saturday night. Memphis (19-4, 10-2, C-USA) won its 10th straight game, while UAB, which was trying to beat its second ranked team this week, had its three-game winning streak snapped. Memphis F Jeremy Hunt (Knee) is Questionable here. So Miss defeated Memphis 66-63 in their first meeting, so payback will be the order of the day for the league leading Tigers.

7 Units Oklahoma State -1.5 (LOST 93-92) -7.42 UNITS

Eleven Straight wins has Oklahoma State (R: 6-2 SU, 5-3 ATS) on top of the Big-12 after a narrow 87-83 overtime win over Nebraska this past weekend. Joey Graham had a career game at just the right time for Oklahoma State. Graham scored 30 of his career-high 36 points after halftime and State made seven of eight free throws in overtime. Cowboy shooters shot just 30-of-71 (42.3 percent) from the floor and 5-for-19 from 3-point range (26.3 percent). Oklahoma State entered the game leading the nation at 52.6 percent form the field. Missouri's (H: 9-4 SU, 5-4 ATS) Rickey Paulding, who scored 15 points, hit three free throws in the final 18 seconds and Missouri held on to beat the Baylor Bears 70-66 on Saturday. Jason Conley led the way for the Tigers (13-10, 7-5 Big 12). Conley scored 24 points, going 10-of-14 from the floor and hitting four 3-pointers. Missouri led 33-32 at halftime despite Baylor hitting 52 percent in the first half. The Tigers outrebounded the Bears 34-22 and outscored them in the paint 38-30. Missou has won four straight and they're tough at home, so expect a dandy on Tuesday.

7 Units Maryland -13 (WON 70-49) +7.00 UNITS

As I thought, Duke punished Maryland at Duke, 86-63 SU. Talk about bad timing for the Terps. Maryland (13-10 SU, 9-11 ATS) will probably miss the tourney for the first time in a long time. However, Maryland does get to come Home to face Clemson (10-14 SU, 9-11 SU). Clemson is coming of a dismal Home loss to Virginia 58-55 SU. The BIGGEST AND MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR IN THIS GAME IS THAT CLEMSON HAS NOT WON THIS YEAR ON THE ROAD (0-9 SU). I could tell you that Maryland is strong at Home and they are (10-5 SU) averaging 78 points a game in Turtleville. However, nothing matters except that Clemson cannot win on the Road and will not in this one. Clemson only average 59 points a game on the Road and will be lucky to crack 60 points in this one. All facts and figures pale in comparison to Clemson’s TOTAL ROAD FUTILITY!!! Oh yeah, Maryland already won the first game at Clemson, 65-52 SU.

10 Units Pittsburgh -7 (WON 68-58) +10.00 UNITS

The Pitt Panthers (R: 6-2 SU, 5-1 ATS) maintained their lead in the Big East with a 67-58 victory over West Virginia Saturday. Julius Page and Chevon Troutman scored 15 points apiece and Carl Krauser added 13 for Pittsburgh (24-2, 10-2 Big East), which stayed a game ahead of Connecticut and Providence with four games remaining in the regular season. Georgetown lost a buzzer beater to Syracuse 67-54 Saturday. Gerald Riley and Ashanti Cook each scored 13 points for Georgetown (13-10, 4-8), which lost its fourth straight. Cook also had six steals. The Hoyas (H: 10-4 SU, 2-7 ATS) played some of their best defense of the season -- an inspired effort coming off a bad loss at St. John's -- but they shot just 28 percent from the field. Syracuse played so poorly in the first half, it was somewhat incredible that the defending national NCAA champions only trailed 25-22. Gerry McNamara tossed in the game-winner for Syracuse at the buzzer. Pitt is one of the big fish in the east with depth, experience and atop the Big East and they aim to keep it that way.

Good luck today my friend's,
